The Early Bird Gets The Worm....

Good morning sweet friends,
Just had to share my news with everyone. I am so excited this morning to find out, that I was one of three winners for a surprise goodie from Angie over at "Just A Lil' Raggedy" http://lilraggedyangie.blogspot.com/. Last night Angie hosted a surprise giveaway to the first three people to comment on her blog, about why we "love being an early bird". My answerer was because I hate waiting....I would rather be 20 min. early, than have to wait hours.... Well gals, believe it or not I was the first to comment....whooohooo I'm so excited! New Swap Goddies From Secret Friendship Swap

Good Morning Friends,

I have some new goodies I would like to share with you today. Recently I took part in a swap that Tammy over at "A Primitive Place" http://aprimitiveplace.blogspot.com/ was hosting, It was called " The Secret Friendship Envelope Swap". Each of us were assigned a secret swap partner, we didn't find out who had us until our packaged arrived on our doorstep. How fun was that, the suspense was killing me to say the least...LOL We each were suppose to include in our envelope 3 homemade primitive items and anything else we cared to add to our packages. My secret partner that was given my name was Trish from "Me 2 U Primitives" http://me2uprimitives.blogspot.com/. As you can see, Trish went that extra mile and spoiled me with all my goodies! She sent me a wonderful hand stitched pillow(which is so awesome). I can't begin to think how much time and patience it took to stitch all that! She also sent me a OOAK Bloomer Ornie, and Mammy Flower Poke Flag. I just can't begin to tell you how much I love them! And yet she didn't stop there....No she didn't, she also sent me a cute lil' Bee Poke, three wonderful Americana Flower bowl Fillers, a yummy smelling package of Vanilla scented melts, and a wonderful primitive fridge magnet. I love,love,love everything! Thank you so much Trish, I can't begin to thank you enough.

WooooHooo I'm A Winner!

Traveling Sisterhood Swap Box Goodies

Hello again friends,

Here is a picture as promised of my wonderful Sisterhood Swap Box Goodies. Look at all that handmade soap, I wish you could smell it....It smells soooo yummy! The little chick pin keep was surly a keeper, tell me who could have resisted? The little chick pin keep was all handmade from wool and that Americana Box with needle punch flag is going to be perfect with my Americana display on my shelf. Robin even made two wonderful Americana embellished hang tags that were inside the box. All my goodies came from Robin over at "Cranky Crow" http://thecrankycrow.blogspot.com/. Traveling Sisterhood Swap Box

Hello friends,

Before I begin, I would like to tell you that I will be posting picture of all my goodies sometime tomorrow. I went to take pictures of my goodies after writing this post and realized my batteries for my camera need replacing. What a bummer huh??? I know you were all looking forward to seeing pictures of my goodies, just as much as I wanted to show them off to you. They say when It rains It pours....the last few days here seems like It's done nothing but pour, to say the least... .LOL

I recently took part in a swap that Deb from Crows Creek Primitives http://crowscreekprimitives.blogspot.com/ was hosting. It was called Sisterhood of the traveling prim swap box swap. Deb started the box out by putting five items into the box and mailing it to the next person in line. Each person could take out as many items as they liked, but had to replace them with something else, the box must have five items in it at all times, and then we have to send it on to the next person in line. I received my box on Wednesday from Robin over at Cranky Crow http://thecrankycrow.blogspot.com/. (Sorry for the delay in posting, it has been shear craziness here at Marmmie's house, which has prevented me from posting sooner).

I have to say this was such a fun swap and I had a very hard time trying to decide what to keep and what to send on. I didn't want to hog everything, and I wanted to give Beth a few other choices besides just my goodies to choose from. So I ended up choosing three items to keep(after some serious thought and eliminations) ....one was a beautiful bag of homemade soaps that smell so yummy, the second one I choose was a cute as can be little chick pin keep, and the third was an awesome Americana Box that will go just perfect with my Americana display. My goodies that I choose all from came from Robin over at Cranky Crow http://thecrankycrow.blogspot.com/. Thank you Robin, I love them all so much, I couldn't help myself and had to snatch them up! Beth over at The Prim Colonial http://theprimcolonial.blogspot.com/ will be the next person in line which I will be sending the box to. Beth If you are reading this I will be sending your box out to you on Friday, I will email you with all the info.
