I am divorced mom to three wonderful daughters and a Marmmie to three beautiful grandsons.( Thus, the name Marmmies Mammy's and More). I am a self taught artist who has been crafting and sewing since I was a young child. I have also taught, and made ceramics for many years, until I became disabled. I started getting involved in doll making a few years ago when I became disabled, and my last little bird left the nest. When she left, I had a hard time figuring out what "Me Time" was. I quess some might call this "Empty Nest Syndrome". I always knew I had a calling for something, but could never figure out what it was. Then one day after going to a craft show with my oldest daughter, she asked me to try and make her a primitive mammy doll. Needless to say I agreed, and from that day on I have become hooked! All the pieces in my "Me time" puzzle finally fell into place. I now use my talents to bring smiles to others through my creations and my dolls.
