A Special Gift And A Friendship Swap.

Good morning friends...Today I thought I would share with you a very special gift I received and some swap goodies that I received in the mail from Michelle over at Rocking Chair Stitches http://rockingchairstitches-michelle.blogspot.com/. Michelle and I were partner up in a Garden, Friendship Swap that Tricia over at HillCrest Home Prims http://triciamcn.blogspot.com/ was hosting. The swap was put together by Tricia in hopes that we would make or find that one "SPECIAL FRIEND" that is so hard to find. We were suppose to get to know our partners and learn all about them, through writing back and forth. With that being done....Tricia was hoping that once we learned about each other we might form a bond and that it would grow and blossom into a long and wonderful "SPECIAL FRIENDSHIP". But, sadly to say we all know for other various reasons sometimes, things have a habit of not work out as we have hoped they would.... Not being compatible, things coming up in our busy lives, different chain of events happening...etc. and to find that one "TRUE SPECIAL FRIEND" is rarity and very hard to find. Some may go through there whole lives searching for that "ONE TRUE SPECIAL FRIEND" and never find them and theres others who are blessed and have one already. I am sure that we have all made some wonderful friends in our life time and one can never have to many friends in there life, as we all need them. But, that one "TRUE SPECIAL FRIEND" .......is a special gift, a blessing from above and only our hearts will tell us when we do find them. I have a special saying that I love which is......"The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen nor touched, but they are felt in our heart".
Ok, by now you must be thinking....where in the world is she going with all of this??? Is she a little off her rocker or what?? LOL Just bear with me for a few.....it's all most over..trust me here....LOL
First off I would like to thank Michelle for "ALL" the goodies she sent me....I love them all! Especially the Penny Rug Kit and that wonderful little crow on the wood block. I also want to say I am sorry for the loss of your dad and I am sorry that it prevented us from really getting to know one another. I think we could have been friends if we had more of a chance to get to know one another! I also want to thank you......for giving me the chance in finding that one 'SPECIAL FRIEND" that I have been searching for, for a very long time! With out all the chain of events that happened through this swap I would have never found her.... Believe it or not I have been blessed with Tricia over at Hill Crest Prims! Her and I have hit off! With emailing and chatting back in forth we have found we have so much in common, we are like to pea's in the same pod(sorta speak) it's almost scary that we are so much alike. We have talked non stop over the last couple days on the phone, it's like we have known each other for our whole lives. Just unbelievable and I know that we already have the makings for a friendship that will blossom and grow into something so wonderful! So see friends....when we least expect it, what can happen. They say everything happens for a reason, and I truly believe it! I have to say I did go into the swap with hopes of finding that special someone....but when things didn't work out as planned, I was just happy with what God had dealt me, never dreaming in million years that my "SPECIAL FRIEND" was just right around the Conner waiting...(it just proves he does work in mysterious ways and everything happens for a reason) Thank You Lord, Thank You Michelle, and a Special Thank You to my new "SPECIAL FRIEND'" Trica ( I have been so blessed)....I also want to Thank all my "SPECIAL" blogging "FRIENDS" that I have met through blogging and along the way, your wonderful comments and friendship also means the world to me........Until next time friends....... Pin Keep Swap

Good Morning Friends,

In my last post, I spoke of the Pin Keep Swap I was in over at http://ravenwoodwhimzies.blogspot.com/ that Wendy was hosting and shared with you pictures of my Pin Keep that Kathie sent me (which if you haven't seen it , just look down at previous post). I found out yesterday that my partner Vicki over at "Paintspots And Splinters" http://vicky-myart.blogspot.com/ just received the Pin Keep I made for her. I thought maybe you would like to see the Pin Keep I created for her.

Keep in mind she told me she loved "Raggedy's" so I put on my thinking cap and this is what I came up. I was please at how it turned out. I did send her a couple other things, which included another small Raggedy doll and a set of place mats for her kitchen table. Vicki, is such a sweet gal. If you have not visited her blog "Paint Spots And Splinters" http://vicky-myart.blogspot.com/ yet, you need to do so! She is such a wonderful artist who paints on canvas and wood. Her paintings are so amazing and she has them listed all on her blog for everone to see! She also has an "ESTY Shop" that you might want to check out http://www.etsy.com/shop/paintspotsnsplinters which has a lot of her wood pieces for sale listed there.

I have been so "Blessed" with being in this swap, not only did I have so much fun creating....but I have made two new friends in the process! Thank You Wendy once again for hosting such a wonderful, fun swap!

Pin Keep Swap

I wanted to share with everyone what I received in the mail yesterday. Recently I participated in a Pin Keep Swap that Wendy from "Ravenwood Whimzies" http://ravenwoodwhimzies.blogspot.com/ was hosting. We were each assigned a partner and had to make a pin keep for our partner, that was designed with our partners likes in mind, it also had to be on some sort of pedestal, box, or anything as long as it was not a square flat one.
My partner was Kathie from "Beyond The Story Book" http://beyondthestorybook.blogspot.com/ . After writing back and forth and getting to know each other we both discovered that we have so much in common. She is such a sweetheart by the way! In writing and getting to know each others likes and dislikes, she ask me what my fav. Holiday was....I replied Halloween, and then explained why. I love Halloween because it is in Fall and Fall is one of my fav. seasons..... Well Look at my pin keep!!!! OHhhh my gosh, she did it! She got me..., in creating my wonderful new pin keep. Isn't it fabulous? She put so much "Love" an"Thought" into creating it, not to mention all the details....I "LOVE" the little spider crawling up the side(which is a pin cushion also) and the tiny web hanging from her hat, the spiders on her hands. The white birch branch that she used as the base is so awesome! When I look at my new pin keep I see my Fall and Halloween all combined into one! What more could one ask for? LOL Then not only did she do an awesome job on my pin keep, she sent me some other goodies as well! A wonderful little purse, loaded with creating goodies....pieces fabric, ribbon, gold mesh ribbon, a package of gems in all sizes and colors and a package of awesome stickers and my fav. an Angel decal that says"Protected By Angels" I Love it! Kathie also included a beautiful butterfly card, with a sweet note inside! Thank you so Much Kathie.......I "LOVE" everything!
I also would like to take this time to Thank Wendy for hosting such a wonderful fun swap! "Thank You Wendy....I had so much fun participating in your swap!
