My Olde Time Santa giveaway will run now through December 7th. and I will announce the winner on December 8th, this way you will have it in plenty of time to display and enjoy them for the up coming holidays. This giveaway is for all my friends living in the US and Canada only. Sorry but shipping rates are to expensive to ship else where. New followers always welcome. Please make sure I have some way to get a hold of you if you do not have a blog or are a non-reply blogger.  If you would like to be entered into my giveaway please leave a comment telling me so, also for a bit of fun I would love to hear what your favorite childhood memory of Christmas was and what was the earliest time you can remember getting up to see what Santa brought you. :)  For an 1 extra chance post with link back to my blog on your sidebar. For 2 more extra chances do a post on your blog with a link back to mine, telling about my giveaway. Please leave a comment telling what you have done and leave it in all one comment, telling me how many chances to put you in for.
Now that all the particulars are done lets get this giveaway started, shall we?
This giveaway is for my Olde Time Santa, Snowman and Sled. Santa and Snowman have been all handmade by me and given that old time look. My pictures really do not do justice to show the old worn time look off. Santa stands a full 9 inches tall and his little friend is approx. 51/2 including sled. They are both made from ornsburg and wool fabric and grunged to make them look old time.  I am also including the feather tree with rusty bells which I thought would make a great addition to this little vignette!
I would like to take this time to thank each and everyone for stopping by and visiting from time to time. I truly enjoy your visits and comments.  I have met and made so many wonderful friends through this blogging journey of mine and I am truly blessed for all your love and support and look forward to each and everyone of your visits!
Before I close I would also like to share with you my wonderful ornaments that I received from Old Lady Morgans Ornament Swap that were made by some very talented friends. First one is a wonderful woolie ginger made by Trace from Granny Trace Scraps &Squares. I am so in woolie "LOVE" with this sweet lil' guy!

Next I received another wonderful ginger, this time from sweet Brenda from The Rusty Thimble. This little guy is grunged to prim perfection and will look so awesome on my tree!
Wait there's two more, yes two more..... look how lucky I am :) *Giggles* The next one came from another talent artist named Janet from Olde Crow Primitives. This little crow is just prim delightful and I cannot wait to display him along with all the rest on my tree!
Next is this wonderful Belsnickle made by sweet Amy from Bumble Bee Lane. I was in Awwww when I opened Amy's, as a couple years back I was lucky enough to win a giveaway that Amy was hosting and it was for a wonderful salt glazed Belsnickle and since that time I have been hooked.....and have been collecting them ever since!
And.... this little bag of yummy goodness was included in my box from our Sweet friend Marie, from Primitives By Old Lady Morgan. I have to say it has been quite the challenge to save this little bag of goodies to show off.....but as I write I am munching and punching letters.....Oooooh soooooooo good! hehe I wonder how she knew I have a thing for sweets! heheh
I would love to thank Marie for hosting such a fun swap and for all her hard work and time putting into it and  making it such a great success! I would also like to thank all the wonderful talented gals for their beautiful creations. I love them all, and I am so looking forward to displaying them on my tree as soon as I can get it up and decorated.
Ok friends, on that note I am going to close, I hope you haven't fallen asleep on me with such a long post tonight. I thank you all for sticking with me and letting me share. I hope you will decide to join in on my giveaway. If you would like to visit any of these wonderful talented gals I have provided the links to their blogs (Just click on the blog names and it will take you there). Good luck to all!
Until next time friends,
Big Hugs Mary

Hi Mary,
I'm Speachless! What an absolutely Amazing giveaway!!!
Of course I would love a chance to win.

I guess the childhood memory that sticks out the most, for no reason what so ever is...
Waking up and seeing that Santa had brought me this HUGE Yosemite Sam Doll and it was sitting in a large wicker chair.
You know, the wicker chairs with the large fan backs.
I was so excited.
I have no idea why that memory sticks out the most. LOL!!
We really never did any actual celebrating on Christmas morning, that all happened on Christmas Eve.
We would go to my Grams and eat, then spend the rest of the day messing with whatever new stuff we got.

Of course, you know I'm a follower.
My email is:
aprimitiveplace@yahoo.com
just incase I am lucky enough to win.

I will post your giveaway on my sidebar.

Thanks so much for a chance to win this wonderful creation of yours.

Love all your ornies from the swap.

Hugs,
Tam

Hi Miss Mary,

Can a teddy bear enter? Here is some of Mom's information.

Her favorite memory was walking into the living room on Christmas morning holding her parents hand. Then stopping and just looking at the bee-u-tee-ful tree and all the prezzies.

She says she remembers Christmas when she was 5 years old.

And I am putting your giveaway with a linky thingy on my sidebar. (o:

Hi Mary, what a wonderful, wonderful giveaway! You make the most awesome prims. I really love your Santa, ginger and sled. Boy would it look great in my house!!!
I would love to be entered and I will post to my sidebar and also do a post about your giveaway.
My favorite childhood memory, I was probably 5 years old and my sister next to me was 3. We were setting on the couch and wouldn't go to bed, my dad said, Do you hear that? We said yes, he said that is Santa and the Reindeer and I have to pay him or he won't drop off the toys. Well you never saw two little girls running so fast to go to bed. Were were up and down all night long to see if Santa came. Finally around 5 my parents would let us get up. I got a beauty shop doll with all of the accessories, I played and played and played. I am a hairdresser today too.
Thank you for hosting such a wonderful giveway and Merry Christmas to you and your family. hugs, Lecia

What a wonderful giveaway! I am a new follower & don't know how I've missed seeing you before. Your creations are wonderful! I have done a post about your giveaway on my blog & have also added it to my sidebar for some extra chances of winning : )

My favorite childhood memory of Christmas would have to be the year I got my 2 wheel bike. I was 7 & when I came out on Christmas morning & looked under the tree, there were lots of gifts but no sign of a bike. I was disappointed but tried not to show it. After I had opened everything my father went to the front door ... he said he was seeing if the paper had come ... & then he stopped & said What's this!" He then came into the livingroom with my bike & said Santa just not have had room to leave it under the tree & so he left it in the hall : )

The earliest I remember getting up is 4 a.m. I remember this exactly because it was not well received by my mother & I can't say I blame her. I was a thoughtful child & when I woke up I crept out into the livingroom & saw all my presents. I didn't want to disturb my parents, who were sleeping so soundly, & so I opened all my gifts to see what Santa had brought me & then I went back to bed. When my parents woke up, my mother was quite upset that I had opened my gifts without her & my dad being there. Dad just laughed : )

very pretty ornies you received. I am follower. My favorite memory is our white fleece tree that turned on a musical base with a revolving color wheel (remember those?) that cast red, green, and blue light on the tree. The earliest age was around 4 years old. Being a twin, they sat that can make old memories clearer. I will also post to my sidebar. That gives me 4 chances, I think. To contact me, at the top of my Homespun Hannah's Blog is an old phone Email image. Thank you :)

What a great giveaway!! I don't have a blog myself just enjoy reading many others. Particularly ones that involve stitching and crafting. I think my favorite memory of Christmas is just the scents of the holiday season that I remember as a child...its not cookies baking in the oven that i remember so much but snow in a can that we used on a styrofoam and toothpick tree, to the liquid we put in the train set to make the train smoke, and just the smell of the freshly cut tree that take me back to years ago. We also had a white flocked wreath with pink balls on it that hung on the door. As a child I thought it was beautiful, now not so much...but today it would fit right in with all the shabby chic vintage stuff!! Please enter me in your giveaway. Merry Christmas susanm1958@msn.com

Oh my what a beautiful Santa! Well we were always up early for seeing what Santa left,me especially but the rule was we were not to wake up our parents till after 6am no matter how excited we were...smile..My memories of Christmas were never really about the gifts but of snow and sledding with cousins, brothers and sisters and grandma's special sugar cookies we always got to eat for breakfast on christmas morn...Off to post to my sudebar so I guess I'm in for 3 tries..Glad you liked my santa if you want you can heat up a metal hook and slide it in his hat but I thought he would be good tucked in somewhere.Warm Blessings!~Amy

I posted on my sidebar.
My favorite Christmas memory would be...decorating the Christmas tree with my Dad. That was his job and it had to be Perfect. He would only let us help if we were good. He used the big old Christmas lights and garland, antique ornaments and tinsel, that had to be put on one strand at a time. In the end, it always was a Beautiful tree.
Enjoy your day!

What a wonderful giveaway. So love the Santa display. I am a follower so please drop in my name. I was about 4 or 5 and I can remember waking in the wee hours of the morning. Our family tree was in the living room {that we never used}. I would wake my parents and Daddy would get up and light the heater, you know those old fashioned free standing gas ones. I can smell a match being lite to this day and it brings back memories of Christmas morning. I would see what Santa brought, get my new baby doll{ yep, the smell of new plastic dolls bring back memories also} and then go back to bed until later in the morning. Oh the innoncence of a child at Christmas. Thanks for the memories. Have a wonderful day, and good luck ladies.

Well holy smokes Miss Mary....when you do giveaway, you DO a giveaway!! Absolutely squeal worthy!!! WOOO HOOO!!! I would LOVE to be entered!! (And will be crossing fingers, toes, eyes and tailfeathers hoping I'm the lucky duck...er crow!) Anyways - my favorite Christmas memory is the year that my mother and father arranged to have an uncle of mine climb up on the roof of our old farmhouse. My brother and I were getting to the "questioning" age I guess, so a little "magic" was in order. We lived at the end of a VERY long private road, so could hear/see any car that came - so he must have parked way back and walked through the snow, and climbed up on the roof of the steep two-story roof to pound around and make snow fall off to the porch. I remember not sleeping at ALL that night...and running out early the next morning to see if I could see reindeer prints in the yard. (Yea, guess my "investigative" side began early in life....) Didn't learn the truth about the conspiracy until years later after the uncle had passed. As for the earliest I remember getting up Christmas morning, I guess I don't. We celebrated Santa's arrival on Christmas eve after the Christmas eve program at church.....

Thanks so much for this wonderful opportunity Sweetie!! I've posted on my blog sidebar as well....

Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin (PS - Love your new ornies!! You made a great haul!!)

Wowza! What a give away! I have one heck of a time editing pictures too.
I am a follower of your blog and live in the US.
My favorite Christmas memory: We gathered at my Grandparents home on Christmas eve. On this particular night I received a much wanted Cabbage Patch Doll. It was when the craze happened in the early 80s. She looked like me and her name was Gwendolyn Bobbette. Gosh I loved that doll! There is a picture of me holding her that night and my face is positively beaming! The earliest I remember getting up to see what Santa put under the tree was 4 AM!
I posted this on my blog too!

Hello
Thank you so much for having this give away and for including Canada!

My first memory of looking to see what Santa had brought is not one for me but my little brother. I was 6 and he was 2. When we got up, there was a bouncy, spring horse for him and his face just lit right up. He ran right to it, got on and bounced.
It just makes me smile.
God bless,

My fondest memories as a child are peeking down the stairs, looking to see if Santa had come, and quietly tip-toeing down to get our stockings, which we were allowed to do before our parents where up (I think they let us so they could sleep in a bit)
Thank you for the awesome giveaway!

I usually spent the night awake playing with my toys and they would sleep! lol

I would love to be entered into your giveaway! I am a follower...I posted about your giveaway on my blog...and also put it on my sidebar. You are so talented!

My favorite Christmas memory was going to pick out a Christmas tree and then bringing it back home for my grandpa to saw the end of it so it would fit into the tree stand. One year, the truck of the tree was crooked, and so it was crooked in the stand--but he kept sawing and working with it, and finally got it right. Decorating the tree was (and IS) always so much fun. When I was little my grandma had an electric train that ran around the bottom. I loved that. I can't remember how early I would wake up Christmas morning to see what Santa had brought me...but I know it was EARLY! It was always so exciting to see all the presents around the tree and my stocking filled to the brim!

I also remember my uncle and aunt getting me a raggedy ann and andy doll house and my uncle and I put it together on Christmas Eve (that is when they visited). My favorite memory is 5 years ago, my husband gave me a box with a leash, dog brush, and dog collar- he was getting me a dog! Christmas in general, I don't remember what time it was when I got up. I just remember laying awake all night in a jittery excited half sleep!

I am sad to say that I don't really remember any Christmas memories from my early childhood. My memory is REALLY bad. But for sure the best memory I have is my husband bought me a brand new Harley Sportster! He wrapped up the key and gave it to me in front of everyone. No one had a clue. I died with excitement!!! I was shocked! Best Christmas memory ever. :)

I lost my mother at a young age, so I have to say those Christmas' when she was still with us were the most memorable. She always loved Christmas and made every year special. A clean and decorated house. Tons of cookies baked. Everything perfect!I don't think I slept at all on Christmas Eve! It was always so exciting!!

I don't have a blog spot but I am honored that you are including me in your giveaway.

What was my most Memorable Christmas? It had to be the year that I was in the Christmas Play at my church and my Grandmother made my costume. She spent many, many hours sewing wide ribbon together to make me the most beautiful costume. I was an angel and the ribbon was shiny, so when the spot light was on me, I was truly an angel!! My Grandmother is gone now, but the weekend before she passed away, we had our family reunion and at that reunion, we talked about that costume. I am so glad that we were able to share that memory so close to her going to be with the Lord and I am so thankful that the Lord died on the cross for my sins and has blessed me with such a wonderful life.

I would love a chance to win your wonderful prim Christmas goodies. I am a follower and I will post this to my sidebar.
One of my many Christmas memories was when we went to visit my Grandma & Grandpa Baughman. She cooked on an old wood cookstove and made the best Chicken cooked in milk gravy. She also made sugar cookies the size of a saucer and she would keep them stacked on a plate covered with a teatowel. We couldn't have one until after we ate dinner. But I thought I would be sneaky and hide under the table covered with her best tablecloth and reach my hand under the towel to fetch a cookie while they were busy cooking. Suddenly I felt this smack...Grandma must have been keeping a good eye out.LOL

OOps forgot to share my memory. I grew up in California and we didn't get the lovely white snowflakes. We would pile up in our small white valiant car and head to Lake Tahoe to spend the day playing in the snow on our sleds. Later we my Dad would chop down a tree, place on top of our small little car and head back home after some hot chocolate. It was so much fun. I just love the snow and glad I now live in Ohio where I can enjoy the snowflakes!

My first childhood memory is when I was 3-4 years old. I woke up to find a large Chatty Cathy Doll. I toted this doll every where I went.

Have a wonderful Christmas and thanks for the chance to win your giveaway gifts.
